Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)<\/h2>\n

In some situations, it is desirable\u2014or even necessary\u2014to reduce discharges to zero. Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) is an approach in which all wastewater is treated and reused, ensuring that no liquid residual streams are released into the environment. In addition to maximising water recovery, ZLD also creates opportunities to recover valuable resources from the concentrate.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The increasing pressure on water resources and the tightening of discharge requirements are making ZLD solutions increasingly relevant.
